Sarah is obsessive about wine – tasting most days, reading extensively, and tailoring almost every international trip around visiting wine regions. Her curiosity has led her around the world, chasing an understanding of the most exciting producers and trends.
It has also led to her explore diverse corners of the wine trade professionally. In a bid to understand what makes the world of wine tick, she has mopped winery floors, served in restaurants, sold wine for distributors, managed marketing teams, led exciting PR campaigns, and worked on events for some of the industry’s most senior leaders.
In the past decade, she has managed communications for Liv-ex, the global fine wine market, served as Head of Membership for fine wine think tank Areni Global, and her writing has been featured in publications including Decanter, Jancis Robinson, Meininger’s Wine Business International, The Drinks Business – and more.
Today, she brings this rounded perspective to her work. Based in Miami, Florida, Sarah regularly hosts consumer and professional wine events, writes about wine, and supports producers and trade organizations with their presence in the Florida market. She is also the founder of Wine Talks Miami, South Florida’s wine trade network.
When not in Florida, Sarah can be found exploring the world of wine. Recent travels have taken her to Argentina, Chile, Napa, Bordeaux, and South Africa – among others. She is happiest when sharing her enthusiasm with fellow wine lovers.
